Dear Kind Parents,
I hope everyone had enjoyed their Labor Holiday with friends and family!
We are off to another week full of excitement and learning. This week we will stick to as close as a regular work cycle as possible, still doing a great deal of Community Building activity to create a well knit and connected community that shares kindness, peace and respect.
The new students are adjusting very well! I observe some new friendships and bonding with the fifth and sixth.
Class Updates:
Last week everyone had new vocabulary, comprehension, Science and Review math facts work along with math word problems. Latin folders were sent home Friday with all children to start practicing their lists. Tests on Latin tests-AKA-Word Within a Word will start next Thursday
I will elaborate on all the works and our schedule Thursday during Back to school night.
In Reading:
All 4th , 5thand 6th graders had their first lesson on “Wordly Wise” a vocabulary comprehension series that we use weekly. Students also were Journaling and working on basic comprehension skills.
